When many local drawing and visual meetups were stopped in 2020, we thought let’s do something online!
Now it is 2026 and we are still going strong, meeting every first Thursday each month at 6 pm Berlin time for our German meetup Kritzelspiele (“doodle games”). For more info, check out www.kritzelspiele.de

We both have loud inner critic voices, that yell and shout when we draw. Not good enough! Who wants to see this? Embarrassing! That is why that evening also for us is a practice in not being perfect and just doodle along guided by inspiration images. Joy and spending time with other doodlers is the focus. “All is possible, nothing is a must” is our motto.

Marianne: I am a freelancer agile team coach and live in south Gemany close to the Swiss border. Between meetings, I cuddle my 3 cats or dig around in my balcony flower pots and enjoy the sun. 
I created my first Sketchnote in 2016 and was the co-organizer (I am one of the ‘Fab Four’) of the first International Sketchnote Camp in Hamburg, Germany in 2017.
